Fantastic Books Deals for the End of February

Sammy’s Hill by Kristin Gore – ebook – $1.99
I read (and LOVED) both books in this hilarious set of books about a young woman working on Capitol Hill before I went and heard Kristin Gore speak in person and then I liked them even more. They’re a little goofy and also really fun. (Full review here.)

When You Reach Me by Rebecca Stead – ebook – $3.99
I read this book and loved it, but couldn’t quite figure out what to say about it. It’s quirky, to be sure, but fun and extremely readable. This book was universally a winner in the mock Newberys around the country and ultimately won the gold sticker.

Black Cake by Charmaine Wilkerson – ebook – $1.99
I’d say that generally I’m not drawn to books with descriptions like “sweeping family saga”, but this one has such great reviews from readers that it has been on my TBR list since it came out!

Redwall by Brian Jacques – audiobook – $3.99
This was one of my very favorite series as a child – I’m pretty sure I read a couple of the books at least five or six times. All the books in the series can be read as standalone books. They are perfect for fantasy and animal lovers. (Plus, this one is a Libro.FM deal so you can use it to make a Yoto card!)

I read this book almost 20 years ago and I still love it.
